Dental Care During Covid-19 Pandemic

We sincerely hope that this message finds you and your family safe and in good health!

We wanted to let you know that we remain open to care for your family’s dental care needs.

The Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario has confirmed that dental offices continue to be an essential service and remain open in health regions declared to be in lockdown including York Region.

Our commitment to your health and safety remains our top priority. We  are in full compliance with the RCDSO, ODHA and Public Health Guidelines.

Our office has always followed the most up to date infection control standards and protocols. Please see below for what we are doing to keep you safe.

  • We will ask screening questions before your appointment and you’ll be asked those same questions again and sign our informed consent  forms from Public Health when you arrive at the office including a temperature check with a touchless thermometer on your wrist.
  • If you arrive early please wait outside in your car and come in only at your designated appointment time.
  • Individuals accompanying a patient should wait outside the office unless absolutely required (For example a parent bringing in a child patient.) If you are travelling to see us more that 1 hour, please  call our office to make special arrangements for you to wait in our office.
  • Please arrive to the office wearing either a mask or a face covering. Please wear a mask or face covering while in the office at all times except for during treatment. If you have a mask exemption, please  call us so we can accommodate your entry into the office.
  • We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter and exit the clinic. There are more dispensers around the office for you to use as needed.
  • Our waiting room will have very limited seating for physical distancing and will no longer offer magazines or children’s books  or beverages .
  • We will be wearing more protective gear – such as masks, goggles, face shields – than we normally do during your visit.
  • Each of our treatment rooms has been sealed.
  • We have invested in high efficiency air filtration systems that continuously clean the air. These systems have been added to each treatment room as well as to our common areas.
  • In between patients we meticulously clean and disinfect rooms, as well as sterilize all instruments used.

Rest assured, all these procedures are designed to create the safest environment for you, other patients and our team.

Thank you so much for your continued trust in us.

We look forward to seeing you!
